I. Project Background
Currently, the automation level of manufacturing industry is gradually improving, and the degree of centralized control is becoming more intensive. As management, it is necessary to understand the production operation status in real time. Traditional human-based control systems struggle to complete tedious tasks. Data collection centered on RFID technology provides convenience for manufacturers, enabling accurate recording of inspection process information and process operation information. It realizes automated monitoring during production inspection, improves inspection efficiency, reduces errors, optimizes asset utilization, improves production methods, and effectively saves production costs.
The case customer is a company specializing in the production of high-efficiency motors and explosion-proof motors. The company's main products include YE3 series high-efficiency motors, YBX3 flameproof motors, YFB3 dust explosion-proof motors, YBBP flameproof variable frequency speed-regulating motors, etc., widely used in fans, pumps, coal mines, chemical industries, and other fields. Currently, the project successfully applied RFID industrial read heads on non-standard automated inspection lines.
II. Industry Pain Points
1. Inability to track production inspection information in real time

III. Solution
The industrial-grade reader/writer launched by our company this time can identify products and record inspection information in real time. The reader/writer is installed on the production line and inspection stations, and RFID tags are installed on the carrier trays. When products flow to a fixed inspection station, the data in the tag is read to confirm whether the previous process inspection has been completed. After confirmation, the product flows to the next inspection station.
Upon entering the inspection station, the reader at the station reads theRFID taginformation. After confirming that the previous process has passed the inspection, the current process inspection begins. After the inspection is completed, the inspection information is written into the RFID tag. After the action is completed, the product is released to the flow production line.
